Tattoos from Our Havelock Shop
Work from all four of our tattooers, done here at the shop on Roosevelt Blvd in Havelock. Color and black and grey, flash off the wall and pieces drawn from scratch, single sittings and multi-year projects. Come in and talk it through with whoever is at the desk, or send your idea over first. Open every day, 12 to 7, walk-ins welcome.

More of the Work
Everything on this page was tattooed at 123 Roosevelt Blvd in Havelock, in the shop Jeff Cohen opened in 1983. It is still family owned, second generation, and four of us tattoo here. We are the grey and yellow building directly across from the main gate at Cherry Point; look for the duck. What is above is the whole room rather than one person’s best week.
You do not need an appointment, though the number is (252) 447-0511 if you would rather call first. Pick something off the flash walls, or bring us an idea and we will draw it for you. A first tattoo the size of a quarter gets the same drawing time and the same clean setup as a backpiece, and nobody here is going to talk you out of starting small. Bring ID. You have to be 18 in North Carolina and there is no exception for parental or guardian consent, so please do not make the trip without it.
A $100 cash deposit holds an appointment and comes off the final price. Large projects carry a bigger deposit, and that comes off the total too. Give us 24 hours notice and the deposit moves with you, as many times as you need. A same-day cancellation or a no-show forfeits it, because that slot was held for you and there is no time left to fill it. We take cash. There is an ATM on site, but it charges $3 per $200. Deposits, payment and the published ranges for large work are all laid out on the FAQ.
Bigger work starts with a conversation, not a booking button. Tell us the subject, the placement and roughly how much you want covered, and send any reference you have been saving on the tattoo request form. Reference is where we start, not where we finish: we will not copy another artist’s tattoo line for line. You see the drawing on the day, sized and shaped for the spot it is going on, and nothing starts until you are happy with it.
